Hello! It looks like you found my photo irresistible and want to know more about me. Since you've come this far, let me tell you everything there is to know.

Let's address the elephant in the room, first. No, it's not me. If we're going to use an animal to describe me it would be more like a seal. I won't deny it...I do love a good meal. What I really need is a family who will make absolutely sure that my food is measured, that I can't eat all day long when I'm bored, and that nobody will give in to my big, sad eyes when I'm begging to lick the ice cream bowl. I have heard about diabetes and arthritis and as a chubby girl, I'm at risk of both of those when I'm older. The great news is that I'm only about 3 years old so there is plenty of time for me to get in shape before those things affect me.

Are YOU on a diet?? Maybe we can be on a diet together!

I am a snuggler. I do love to cuddle up with my foster mom, even with a couple of dogs in the bed. I would love a new home where I'm allowed to cuddle up for movies, naps, and basically everything else!

I'd be happy to go to a home with other cats, but that can create a challenge for my weight loss. It can be hard to measure out my food when there will be more than one cat eating, and I make no promises about not eating more than my fair share. There are ways to help me stick to my diet, though. I'm not a good jumper, so you could put a food dish for your other cat on a table or the washing machine where I can't get to it. My foster mom can talk to you about this and also give you lots of information about how many calories I should have each day and what foods might be best. I'm not very active right now but once I shed a few pounds I might surprise you.
